Box Office Opening Times
Please Note: Due to the design of the Auditorium, the Circle has less leg room than the stalls. All of the boxes may have a restricted view.
There are 10 wheelchair spaces in the Auditorium, 8 in the stalls and 2 in the circle. There are 420 seats in the Palace Theatre, Redditch.
Wheelchair Seats:
Customers who require wheelchairs as their primary use of mobility, must book a wheelchair seating position on the allocated seats on the booking plan by calling Box Office on 01527 65203. Wheelchair users for safety and evacuation reasons must not be transferred from a wheelchair to a fixed seat and must remain in their wheelchair to enable safe evacuation of the Theatre.
Please Note: If a patron is unable to attend in a wheelchair and needs to use an electric scooter instead, please notify the Box Office as spaces to accommodate them are limited and subject to space availability. Scooter users for safety and evacuation reasons must not be transferred from a scooter to a fixed seat and must remain in their scooter to enable safe evacuation of the Theatre.
Reservations:
The Palace Theatre does not take seat reservations, all seats have to be paid for at the time of booking.
In Person:
Call in at the Theatre Box Office accessible from Alcester Street where tickets can be purchased in person and can be paid for by cash, Palace Theatre Gift Tokens or by most major credit and debit cards
The Palace Theatre no longer accepts cheques as payment. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this.
Purchasing by Telephone 01527 65203:
You can secure your seats by paying over the phone using a credit or debit card. Tickets can be posted to you for a charge of £2.00, if requested. If the performance is within seven days tickets will be held for your collection at the Box Office. Please note all ticket prices advertised to include a £1.50 booking fee per ticket unless otherwise stated.
Ticket Booking Fee:
All shows from 1st January 2023 will have a £1.50 booking fee per ticket unless otherwise stated.

Please note that your booking cannot leave a single seat remaining in a row.
Credit Cards 01527 65203:
We accept ACCESS, VISA, DELTA cards, which means you can pay instantly for your tickets. Call the above number and quote your card number, expiry date, name and address. We will charge an extra £2.00 if you want your tickets posted to you. If the performance is within seven days tickets will be held for collection.
Terms and Conditions of Sale/Refunds:
We will only refund tickets if the performance or event has been cancelled. We will exchange unwanted tickets on your behalf, for the same show if there is another date to choose from. Exchanges are subject to a £2.00 per seat administration fee.
If you have booked tickets for a show and a subsequent ticket offer is released/announced, you are NOT entitled to a refund or a partial refund.

DR = Discount Rate
FT = Family Ticket (2x Adults and 2x Children)
Unless otherwise indicated, concessions are available if you are under 16, a student, a senior citizen, or claiming disability benefit. Please check to make sure the show you are booking has a discount rate as some of our productions have a flat rate with no concessions.
Carer Tickets:
We give 1 free ticket for the assistant of a disabled person who is unable to attend events unaccompanied where companies permit this. The free carer ticket is subject to the disabled patron's acceptance onto the Redditch Palace Theatre's Access and Carer Scheme. To apply for the Access and Carer Scheme contact Box Office on 01527 65203 or via email on palaceboxoffice@rubiconleisure.co.uk. They will then advise and send you the form to be completed and returned with a good copy of any supporting evidence/proof of entitlement.
Please note, we will only accept as supporting evidence the most recent and up-to-date award letters for Carers Allowance (over 35 hours of care per week), Personal Independence Payment (PIP) (over 35 hours of care per week) on the enhanced/highest rate, Attendance Allowance (for over 65's), or proof as registered as visually impaired. Please check to make sure the show you are booking has a discount rate as some of our productions have a flat rate with no concessions.
Audience members with disabilities can purchase tickets under the Palace Theatre Access and Carer scheme, and if a carer is booking on behalf of the audience member with the disability, they will need to be named on the access form.
When booking free carer tickets please be advised that if tickets need to be exchanged, or the audience member with the disability can no longer attend for any reason, they will need to be purchased at full price including booking fee.
Free carer tickets can be checked on the night of performances, any misuse of free Tickets will lead to tickets being voided or be asked to be paid for in full including booking fee.
Palace Theatre Gift Vouchers:
The perfect present for birthdays, anniversaries, as a Christmas gift or just to say thank you. Available from the Box Office priced from £1 upwards. They are a great gift for all ages and can be used to purchase tickets for any of our theatre events. Palace gift vouchers are valid for 2 years from date of purchase.
Ticket Resales, Exchange and Ticket Touts:
To protect everyone from ticket touts, we don't allow the resale of our tickets for private commercial gain. Tickets are sold for use by the buyer and their party. We can cancel tickets if there's any breach of this condition, and refuse entry without a refund. For your own peace of mind, please only buy from official outlets - which is directly from The Palace Theatre or from one of our approved agents.
It is a general practice that tickets are not exchanged or money refunded.
We will also exchange unwanted tickets on your behalf, for the same show if there is another date to choose from. Exchanges are subject to ticket availability and an administration charge of £2.00 per seat will be made to exchange tickets.
Children:
All children over 12 months of age must have a paid for seat and will only be admitted to specified children’s shows and the pantomime.
Parents with babes in arms under 12 months will only be admitted to specified children’s shows and the pantomime and must report to the Box Office on arrival so the Front of House Manager can issue a pass ticket for the child to be admitted to the auditorium.
We ask that you respect the enjoyment of other patrons and in the event of restlessness request that you take the child from the auditorium.
Children under the age of 14 require an adult to attend the event also. Unaccompanied children attending shows at the Palace are not the responsibility of the theatre and parents leave children at their own risk.
Facebook/Social Media Competitions T&Cs:
1) The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom only and all entrants must be over the age of 18
2) There is usually no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition, but the rules for each competition are stated within the post.
3) Only one entry will be accepted per person, multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified, unless stated otherwise.
4 ) Closing date for each competition will vary and will often be included within the initial post.
5) No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

9) If the winner sells their tickets, we will cancel the tickets and legal action may be taken.

11) The winner will be notified by email and/or DM on Twitter/Facebook and/or letter within 28 days of the closing date. 12) The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. We collect personal information about you when creating an account online to book tickets or workshops. The legal basis for this processing is the fulfilment of a contractual obligation; by booking tickets or workshops you are entering into a contract, and we require the personal data requested to fulfil this transaction. When you create an account or purchase tickets, you can opt to consent to us processing your personal information for other specified purposes such as.
If you chose not to consent to the additional processing, this will not affect your rights. You can browse our website or make enquires with our Box Office without disclosing any personal information.

This information will be accessible by Box Office staff, PatronBase UK Box Office Systems and WorldPay, who provide support, under agreed restrictions. This information will not be shared/sold to any other service/organisation unless we have a duty to do so under law. This data will not be transferred outside of the EEA.
Where you agree to be contacted, the data will be kept until it is either overwritten or until you no longer agree to be kept informed. If you change your mind, simply log into your account and change your preference. However, you will still receive transactional messages when purchasing tickets or booking workshops. Transactional data will be kept for 5 years under the Limitations Act 1980.

Palace Youth Theatre:
Fulfilment of a contract, or to take steps to enter into a contract. We collect personal information about your child in order to be a member of the Youth Theatre. The legal basis for this processing is the fulfilment of a contractual obligation; by signing up to the Youth Theatre you are entering into a contract, and we require the personal data requested to fulfil this contract. In the UK there is no definite age at which a child is considered to have the legal capacity to enter into a contract, therefore, this should be completed by the adult on behalf of the child. Where a member of the Youth Theatre is 18 but does not have the capacity to enter into a contract, this should also be completed by the adult.
Reasonable Behaviour:
We reserve the right to refuse admission or eject a ticket holder for behaviour likely to cause damage, injury or nuisance, abuse towards theatre staff/volunteers, or failure to comply with reasonable requests. On occasion, we may have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of customers.
Steps and Stairs:
Some of the steps around the Theatre, especially the circle, are steep so please take care making your way around the theatre. The auditorium is dimly lit when shows are on too, so if for any reason you need to leave your seat, please take extra care.
