BSL Sign Language Interpreted Performances (see performance with the shown logo).

Hearing Assisted Facilities
We have induction loop systems throughout the main auditorium, in the Palace Studio, in our Box Office and our Bar. Please select the T position on your hearing devices to access these services.
Babies & Children
The Theatre strongly advises no admission for children under three, except for productions as advised by a ticket sales assistant. We consider Pantomime to be suitable for ages 3 plus and most ballets for 5 plus. In accordance with licensing requirements every person entering the auditorium must be in possession of a valid ticket. Baby changing facilities are available in a room located next to the Ladies toilets on the ground floor.
Impaired Mobility
The theatre has lift access to all front of house areas including the bar, the Palace Studio and main auditorium. Wheelchair users have easy access via automatic doors from our main entrance on Alcester Street. Wheelchair positions are located in most areas of the auditorium and positions available in the Palace Studio.
There are 10 wheelchair spaces in the Auditorium, 8 in the stalls and 2 in the circle. There are 420 seats in the Palace Theatre, Redditch.
Wheelchair Seats
Customers who require wheelchairs as their primary use of mobility, must book a wheelchair seating position on the allocated seats on the booking plan by calling Box Office on 01527 65203. Wheelchair users for safety and evacuation reasons must not be transferred from a wheelchair to a fixed seat and must remain in their wheelchair to enable safe evacuation of the Theatre.
Please Note: If a patron is unable to attend in a wheelchair and needs to use an electric scooter instead, please notify the Box Office as spaces to accommodate them are limited and subject to space availability. Scooter users for safety and evacuation reasons must not be transferred from a scooter to a fixed seat and must remain in their scooter to enable safe evacuation of the Theatre.
Parking for our Disabled Customers
We have 5 disabled parking spaces directly opposite the theatre in what was formerly Hughes' car park on Grove Street. This is a private car park, so please make sure you show your Blue Badge and give your car registration details to a member of theatre staff upon arrival. Please note that if all disabled parking spaces are full, blue-badge holders may still park in this car park, but must also show their Blue Badge and give their car registration details to a member of theatre staff upon arrival. Failure to do so may result in a fine from the owner's of the car park. Accessible unisex and ambulant disabled toilets are available on all levels. Our Box Office and bar facilities are equipped with low level counters to aid access.
Carer Tickets
We give 1 free ticket for the assistant of a disabled person who is unable to attend events unaccompanied where companies permit this. The free carer ticket is subject to the disabled patron's acceptance onto the Redditch Palace Theatre's Access and Carer Scheme. To apply for the Access and Carer Scheme contact Box Office on 01527 65203 or via email on palaceboxoffice@rubiconleisure.co.uk. They will then advise and send you the form to be completed and returned with a good copy of any supporting evidence/proof of entitlement.
Please note, we will only accept as supporting evidence the most recent and up-to-date award letters for Carers Allowance (over 35 hours of care per week), Personal Independence Payment (PIP) (over 35 hours of care per week) on the enhanced/highest rate, Attendance Allowance (for over 65's), or proof as registered as visually impaired. Please check to make sure the show you are booking has a discount rate as some of our productions have a flat rate with no concessions.
Audience members with disabilities can purchase tickets under the Palace Theatre Access and Carer scheme, and if a carer is booking on behalf of the audience member with the disability, they will need to be named on the access form.
When booking free carer tickets please be advised that if tickets need to be exchanged, or the audience member with the disability can no longer attend for any reason, they will need to be purchased at full price including booking fee.
Free carer tickets can be checked on the night of performances, any misuse of free Tickets will lead to tickets being voided or be asked to be paid for in full including booking fee.
