Chuckl. proudly presents Redditch XL Comedy Club at The Palace Theatre March 2025.
Get ready for the very best in comedy. All of the acts at Redditch XL Comedy Club (including the ‘support acts’) are the very best in the business. Many of them have TV credits, including Live at the Apollo, so you can rest assured that you’ll have the very best comedy club experience.
Tonight’s show features the magnificent Ivo Graham, Mike Gunn, Andrew Maxwell and Ada Campe!
Ivo Graham
As seen on Have I Got News for You, QI, The Last Leg, Mock the Week, and Live at the Apollo.
Despite extensive grooming for more serious careers at Eton and Oxford, Ivo (now 33) has spent his entire adult life on the stand-up circuit, winning So You Think You’re Funny? aged 18 in 2009 and since establishing himself as, if not the UK’s poshest, then certainly its most apologetically posh comedian. With a bumbling charm to snare audiences of all ages, he’s detailed the various developments in his relationships/neuroses over eight sell-out solo shows, including 2019’s The Game of Life, which received nominations for Best Show and Best Joke at that year’s Edinburgh Fringe.
Mike Gunn
As seen on Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow and Al Murray's Time Gentlemen Please.
“One of the Top Ten Stand-ups in the Country” - The Independent
Mike Gunn's history is as interesting and entertaining as his comedy. He’s been a successful stand-up comedian for over 15 years, but his road to success was a rocky one involving a misspent youth, a heroin addiction spanning 15 years and a stint in a psychiatric unit. Thankfully his sordid past is long behind him; but it cultivated a deeply cynical outlook and a perverse desire led him into the world of stand-up. A self-confessed pessimist, he describes himself as "not a natural choice for a career in laughter". The evidence however, might suggest otherwise.
Andrew Maxwell
As seen on Live At The Apollo (BBC One), Have I Got News For You (BBC One), Celebrity Juice (ITV2) and Mock The Week (BBC Two). He is also the voice of Get Your Tats Out: Kavos Inc (Channel 5).
Andrew is the recognisable voice of MTV’s hit show "Ex on the Beach" (which has ran for 9 series), and on Radio 4 as the host of Andrew Maxwell’s Public Enemies and as a regular on R4’s News Quiz. Having the ear of both the youth and older audience Andrew is best placed to get all ages to stand up and be counted. Last year he also won Celebrity Mastermind with the specialist subject of Lebanon (which he knew nothing about 6 months before the recording).
MC Ada Campe
Ada Campe is an award-winning variety artist, cabaret performer, comedian and magician with an eclectic portfolio.
A member of The Magic Circle, Ada is also a sought-after MC, cabaret performer, and comedian across the UK circuit. Her interactive, playful style appeals to audiences of all ages, and as well as late night cabaret shows in London’s West End, she regularly hosts and performs for Comedy Club 4 Kids, Variety Club 4 Kids, and the Glee Club family shows, and is the proud owner of a Little Giggle badge from Girlguiding UK. She has also hosted and performed at corporate events, Museum Lates and festivals across the UK.
Please note the lineup may be subject to change. In rare circumstances where the lineup does change we will replace acts with similar artists. All tickets are purchased for the show and not to see particular comedians. Order artists appear is not guaranteed - so get here early!
