The Shaun Paul Smith Dance Academy presents 'Jimmy Elliot'. This will be a hip hop theatre adaptation of the classic feature film Billy Elliot. It's going to be a family friendly, fun-filled hip hop theatre show, sure to get you bouncing up and down in your seats. There will be plenty of high energy street dance routines accompanied by a brilliant soundtrack, and a classic storyline which is sure to keep the whole family entertained. COVID PROTOCOLS WHILE VISITING THE PALACE THEATRE

From Monday 19th July

Following the Prime Minister’s announcement confirming that Step 4 of the Roadmap has been achieved and all legal restrictions will be removed.  We are delighted that the theatre will reopen for shows only from: -

Wednesday 21st July with PAUL SMITH – CHANGED.
Saturday 24th – Sunday 25th July – JIMMY ELLIOT – Shaun Paul Smith Dance Academy

With our full programme of entertainment resuming from September.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR VISIT TO THE PALACE THEATRE REDDITCH

HAND SANITISERS
We will continue to provide hand sanitisers within the theatre which our customers are         encouraged to use.

FACEMASKS
The wearing of facemasks will be a matter of personal preference; however, we encourage their continued use whilst inside the building.

NHS TEST AND TRACE
You can check into our venue using the NHS test and trace application on your smart phone using the QR code.

COVID SYMPTOMS
Please do not attend shows if you are displaying any of the covid symptoms including high temperature, sore throat or persistent cough.

CONTACTLESS CARD PAYMENTS
We would prefer payments made at the Box Office, Bar and Kiosk to be by card.

SCREENS
Perspex screens have been positioned at the box office and in the bar to help prevent asymptomatic infection.

CLEANING
The theatre will be cleaned after each performance with particular attention being paid to touchpoints around the building.

VENTILATION
The theatre’s air handling system will be in operation in the auditorium, foyer bar areas and all toilets.  Filtering and providing fresh air throughout your time in the building.

SOCIAL DISTANCING
There will be no social distancing within the theatre.

INTERVAL DRINKS ORDERS
We would prefer interval drinks to be ordered in advance at the bar.  These will then be placed in the Palace Studio on the second floor to help keep the bar area free flowing and less crowded.
