Get ready to cut loose with The Palace Youth Theatre’s electrifying production of Footloose!
When Ren McCormack and his mother move from Chicago to the small farming town of Bomont, he discovers dancing has been made illegal by a law instituted by the local preacher, who is determined to exercise control over the town’s youth. Determined to bring joy and freedom back to the town, Ren challenges the rules and inspires an entire community to stand up and dance again.
Based on the 1980’s screen sensation, Footloose features energetic choreography, and iconic 80’s hits such as "Holding Out for a Hero," "Let’s Hear It for the Boy," and of course, the unforgettable title track "Footloose".
