ABOUT JO: 

Jo started working with the Palace Youth Theatre as an assistant about 17 years ago and had been a Session Leader periodically over the past 16 years. With breaks for university, getting married and starting a family, she always manages to find her way back to us. As a performer Jo performed in many productions as a young person. Most notably taking the lead role of Little Voice in the Rise and Fall of Little Voice (Liverpool 2009) And Mrs Lovett in Stephen Sondheim's Sweeney Todd the Deamon Barber of Fleet Street. Over the years jo has found more joy in teaching young performers then performing herself. Jo also sings locally both as a solo artist and as the lead singer of a cover band. Over the last 12 years jo has taken part in various workshops on behalf of the Jestaminute Community Theatre and Forthright Theatre Arts as a Lead Practitioner. While providing after school club work and summer workshops.
