Soaring, passionate vocals, chiming acoustic guitars and a superb catalogue of original songs in the Folk/Roots/Americana tradition by Carolyn and Mark Evans, lie at the heart of the Red Shoes success story. They are a live favourite on the Folk Club, Theatre and Festival circuit.  Add to this the patronage of such legendary musicians as Dave Pegg, Dave Swarbrick, Joe Brown, Bev Bevan, Ric Sanders, Chris Leslie, all of whom have guested on Red Shoes critically acclaimed albums.

Dave Pegg produced their debut album “Ring Around the Land” and went on to record his version of “Celtic Moon” for the Fairport Convention album “Festival Bell”.
