Following official Government advice which stipulates that people should avoid Theatres we regret to advise that the Palace Theatre will close with immediate effect until further notice. We will continue to keep all other venues open and operating as normal with increased measures on cleanliness and personal hygiene in place. We are monitoring this situation daily. Information on how we are dealing with the ongoing COVID-19 issue at each site is detailed below. As with government guidelines, if you are suffering with any of the symptoms of Coronavirus, please do not visit any of our facilities.

Palace Theatre

Following Government advice we have taken the decision to close the theatre and will be cancelling and rescheduling immediate performances until further notice.

The Palace Youth Theatre sessions have been suspended indefinitely, for further queries message the Palace Youth Theatre Facebook page. 

We will be reviewing this weekly in order to ensure public safety and based on any new information that may come from the Government.

Please note: If you have pre-booked tickets, we will move you to the new date as soon as we have them. We will update and announce new show dates as soon as they are available. If you can’t make that performance, please contact the Box Office 01527 65203 FROM NEXT WEEK (Monday 23rd March) for a full refund.

Please also consider exchanging your ticket for a Palace Theatre voucher, and support us if you’re able to.

We thank you for your patience and we very much appreciate your understanding as we deal with this unprecedented situation.

Abbey Stadium Sports Centre

The Abbey Stadium will remain open but we are taking additional measures to maintain customer Health, Safety and Wellbeing.

  1. We have reduced the class sizes to ensure adequate space between participants.
  2. We have removed the hire of boxing gloves and use of exercise mats.
  3. We are working with clubs and bookings to minimise risks.
  4. We have increased measures on cleanliness and personal hygiene.

Arrow Valley Visitor Centre

Arrow Valley Visitor Centre will remain open. We are increasing our measures on cleanliness and personal hygiene and will continue to review based on government advice and update accordingly.

Community Centres

Our community centres will remain open but reviewed on a booking by booking basis. Forge Mill

Forge Mill will remain open but will be cancelling events over the Easter period. We are increasing our measures on cleanliness and personal hygiene and will continue to review based on government advice and update accordingly.

Pitcheroak Golf Course

Pitcheroak Golf Course will remain open however the café will be serving take out drinks only. We are increasing our measures on cleanliness and personal hygiene and will continue to review based on government advice and update accordingly.
